Mrs Johnson will be teaching on a Monday, Tuesday and Friday. Mrs Wilson will be teaching on a Wednesday and Thursday.

We are really excited to start our learning adventures with you. We will put lots of information on this page so keep checking back regularly. If you scroll to the bottom of the page you will find important information for Year 1 in our 'Files to Download' section.

These are our school rules. We talk a lot about what these mean and how we can demonstrate these in school.

Reading Racetrack Winners!!

We won the gold trophy!! Wahoo!! Our class had 100% of the children reading at least 4 times a week for the majority of the first 9 weeks!! Well done 1JW!!

Our Classroom

At the beginning of the year, our classroom will look a lot like your classroom in Reception. We will have areas of provision that you will spend time learning in such as a Writing Area, Maths Area, Phonics Area, Construction Area, Block Area, Enquiry Area, Reading Area and Creative Area. We are busy getting the classroom ready for you and will post some photos to show you what it will look like soon.

1JW routines:

Reading books changed: Monday and Friday
Library books changed: Every other Friday
Reading racetrack books in: Friday (we will tell you all about this soon!)
PE days: Tuesday/Wednesday
